Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate to maintain showroom inventory and collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser for optimal product placement. You will oversee warehouse operations, including setup, wrapping, and storage for customer pickup or delivery, while upholding cleanliness and organization.

The role involves unloading and loading from semi-trailers, moving products to the floor, coordinating with the Visual team, and handling clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unl oad and load products from semi-trailers.
• Maintain floor inventory and arrange showroom floor setup.
• Transfer products from warehouse to floor and monitor quality.
• Wrap and store sold items for delivery or pickup.
• Communicate with Visual team to prioritize floor setup and incoming merchandise.
• Handle clerical aspects of warehouse operations, including product receipt documentation.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and keep backroom areas clean.
• Perform building maintenance tasks and complete minor repairs as needed.
• Complete weekly warehouse checklist and help reduce store operating expenses.
• Build furniture and utilize hand tools.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.
