Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while engaging with customers in the local community to grow the client base.

The role emphasizes hands-on tax guidance, local presence, and customer-first service, with opportunities to leverage marketing support and TurboTax tools.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license required.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, Sundays–Saturdays, for ≥20 hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources, professional tools, and team expertise.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Engage with local community, grow clientele, and participate in local marketing efforts.
• Interact with customers in-person and through Intuit’s video communication tools.
