MFA Petroleum Company, operating a Big O Tires franchise in Kansas, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations and customer service. You will help drive sales, manage staff, and ensure compliance with programs and procedures.

Ideal candidates bring retail or automotive service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a fast-paced schedule including holidays and weekends. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Experience in retail or automotive sales or service preferred.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use basic math.
• Ability to operate computers and office equipment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and staff to deliver positive experiences.
• Open and close the location on schedule.
• Handle store operations including customer service, sales, shop and office tasks.
• Promote services and products by explaining benefits to customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections and prioritize needed products and services.
• Assist store manager with training and company programs.
• Support in budgeting, payroll, and cash handling processes.
• Help monitor productivity and participate in inventory activities.
• Attend weekly store meetings and communicate updates.
