Job summary

CertainTeed is seeking a Retail Territory Representative to drive sales and category growth across insulation, roofing, screens and other product lines in the Cincinnati area.

You will manage a territory, conduct store visits, deliver product training, and build strong relationships with store leadership, contractors and sales reps while promoting safety and adherence to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5+ years of experience in retail sales, territory sales, merchandising, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms.
• Knowledge of sales, merchandising, product promotion, customer engagement and marketing principles.
• Experience delivering product demonstrations, training, and customer-facing sales support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned retail territory, driving sales and category growth.
• Conduct regular store visits to support retail execution and customer engagement.
• Promote safety culture and ethical conduct.
• Deliver product training, demonstrations, and presentations on product features.
• Build relationships with store leadership, managers, pro customers, and contractors.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams on initiatives.
• Support events, promotions, launches, and merchandising resets.
• Execute merchandising programs and maintain point-of-purchase displays.
• Track sales activities, customer interactions, and pricing through CRM tools.
• Identify opportunities to expand product representation in-store and online.
• Coordinate marketing programs to increase product awareness and sales.
