Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow the store’s sales and customer base. You’ll use technology knowledge and strong service to identify needs, present solutions, and close sales while training across merchandising and inventory.

Earn $16.00–$21.00/hour plus up to $18,000 yearly in commissions; top performers may reach $65,000–$75,500 annually. Benefits start day one, including health, retirement and education support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations to provide a complete sales solution.
• Close sales with effective communication to meet customer needs.
• Develop skills through ongoing training and inventory/merchandising tasks.
• Reach out to current customers with outbound calls and texts to grow base.
• Engage with the community at Verizon events to build loyal customers.
