Job summary

Verizon Retail Sales Associate position in a defined onsite store location focuses on growing retail sales through strong customer service and needs-based conversations. You will present top-down solutions, close sales, and participate in ongoing training to advance your career.

Salary includes base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour with potential for individual-based commissions, plus company benefits and opportunities to earn additional income through seasonal shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand the loyal customer base.
