Job summary

Verizon is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for an onsite U.S. location. You will drive retail sales, engage customers, and offer complete tech solutions within a Verizon store.

You’ll learn customer needs, present product insights, and close sales through outstanding communication. The role includes ongoing training and opportunities to grow your customer base through outreach and community events. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during peak vacation periods.
• Experience working in a commission-based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple, intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store at Verizon sponsored events.
