Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to drive in-store sales, understand customer needs, and provide simple, tech-forward solutions.

Base pay is $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with commissions up to $18,000 a year based on sales goals. Top performers can reach $65,000 to $75,500 annually. Scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for additional shifts and community events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays with scheduling announced four weeks in advance.
• Open to taking additional shifts during peak periods (summer, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn customer needs by asking the right questions and building connections.
• Position product insights and recommend complete top-down solutions.
• Close sales with clear communication to fulfill customer needs with tech options.
• Develop skills through ongoing training and inventory knowledge.
• Grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon events to expand loyalty.
