Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in a store setting. You will learn customer needs, present product solutions, and close sales with effective communication and technical solutions.

Earn $16.00–$21.00 hourly base pay plus commissions up to $18,000 annually, with a potential total income of $65,000–$75,500+ depending on location, hours, and performance. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance).
• Open to additional shifts and higher income during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand Verizon network.
• Learn customer needs by connecting with customers and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations for a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales using strong communication to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to existing customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events to expand loyalty.
