Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Michigan is seeking a Team Member to engage customers, assist with selling initiatives, and handle daily store tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

You will work with neighbors and team members across shifts, learn product solutions, and support merchandising, cashier duties, and safety standards to ensure a positive shopping environment. This role emphasizes flexibility, strong communication, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required; read, write and count accurately.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to operate basic store equipment and use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet customers, uncover needs, recommend solutions.
• Assist with loading purchases and provide loading help to customers.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions following company procedures.
• Perform merchandising tasks, plan-o-gram procedures, and stock merchandise.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds and poultry as required.
