Job summary

Michaels in Newton, NJ is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in stocking, merchandising, and store recovery, assist with buy online pickup in store (BOPIS) and ship-from-store processes, and support safety and SOP compliance while representing the Michaels Brand daily.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist with stocking and store operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Promote rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms and store recovery.
• Support shrink, safety programs and SOP compliance.
