Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a retail team member at our Paramus, NJ store. You will assist customers, guide product selection, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while handling cash to standards.

You will also participate in stocking, planogram maintenance, and omnichannel tasks such as BOPIS and SFS, contributing to a well-merchandised, in-stock store and positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Able to lift and carry merchandise and assist with stocking and floor recovery.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; manage returns/go-backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
