Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a team member for our Wayne, NJ store to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers.

You will help customers find products, check out efficiently, enroll them in Rewards and private label cards, and support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes. Responsibilities include stocking, merchandise recovery, and maintaining in-stock conditions while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and operate a cash register.
• Engage customers with rewards programs and enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise flow to stay in stock
