Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries is hiring a Retail Team Member in Demopolis, AL to support daily store operations, greet customers, stock merchandise, and perform checkout duties with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred; training will be provided to ensure high standards of service and PCI compliance.

Qualifications

• Prefer retail and/or cashier experience.
• Able to use cash register, calculator, and credit card processing machine and make change accurately.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance and follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day sales floor operations and provide world-class customer service.
• Stock shelves, rotate and display merchandise, and ensure a clean store environment.
• Operate cash register and complete end-of-shift cash balancing within standard.
• Adhere to PCI compliance standards and report suspicious activity.
