Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Katy, TX is seeking a Store Team Member to help customers find products, provide friendly service, and support checkout operations.

You will engage with shoppers, assist with merchandise recovery, and participate in stock and planogram tasks to keep the store in-stock and well-merchandised. Responsibilities include assisting with Omni-channel processes, learning rewards enrollment, and abiding by SOPs while supporting safety and shrink programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform stocking tasks.
• Good communication and cash handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and enroll them.
• Assist with stock, planograms, and merchandise recovery.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Adhere to SOPs and safety programs.
