Job summary

Michaels Stores is hiring at least 16 years old team members to deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will handle checkout, assist customers, and engage with the Rewards program, VOC surveys, and Buy Online Pick Up In Store.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, following planograms, and maintaining in-stock conditions while adhering to SOPs and store policies. Evening and weekend hours are common.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Regularly lift and carry items; use ladders or assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Support store recovery, in-stock levels, and merchandising standards.
