Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Rockford, IL is seeking a friendly Gift Shop Associate to deliver first‑class customer service to guests and support shop operations.

This hourly position involves checking in inventory, opening and closing the shop, restocking items, and keeping the space neat, welcoming and secure.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of retail experience and strong interpersonal and computer skills; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide excellent customer services to guests of the gift shop. Provide support to supervisor and Pperform tasks that ensure a smooth operation to include check in inventory, open and close shop, maintain a clean environment, and restock available items as needed.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 6 months retail experience

Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
