Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering a premier customer experience while guiding a team of associates. You will help manage daily operations, merchandising, and Omni-channel activities to hit KPIs.

The role emphasizes developing staff, enforcing brand standards, scheduling, inventory control, and safety compliance; you will collaborate with store leadership to drive growth and uphold Sally Beauty's commitments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Brand: Supervise and plan associates’ daily goals to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales and KPIs.
• People: Recruit, train and develop teams; maintain positive associate relations and communicate company information.
• Operations: Ensure execution of all processes and digital strategies, including Omni-channel fulfillment.
• Inventory/Payroll: Manage inventory, payroll hours, schedules, and adherence to company directives.
• Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment and protect company assets through proper inventory and cash controls.
