Job summary

Meijer in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and uphold Meijer standards. You will drive customer service, ensure product presentation, and manage staffing and training across departments.

You will oversee P&L, scheduling, and safety, promote the Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings, and coordinate with teams to meet sales goals while providing development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas and customer service experience.
• Ability to communicate clear direction and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise day-to-day operations within various departments of the store.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members to drive customer service and sales.
• Address disciplinary actions and manage performance as needed.
• Oversee P&L, sales goals, and shrinkage targets for the department.
• Ensure training and safe, respectful store environment.
