Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington seeks an enthusiastic leader to oversee donation processing and production staff, ensuring smooth operations and high service levels for donors. You will supervise and model effective work methods while maintaining safety and quality standards on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read and comprehend internal documents related to store operations.
• Ability to walk, stoop, stand, bend, kneel and climb for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Lift up to 40–50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and ensures a smooth production process for all donation functions, inventory, control, and adherence to procedures.
• Fulfills duties of production staff, provides excellent customer service to donors, processes donations and sorts items.
• Enforces store safety and security procedures.
• Assists in settling complaints.
• Provides input for associate interviews and performance evaluations.
