Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional in Michigan to oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and drive sales. You will ensure staffing, training, and adherence to company standards while delivering exceptional service to customers and maintaining a safe work environment.

With 2–3 years in retail and at least 1 year in a management role, you will guide teams across departments, handle promotions, and support continuous development within a large, family-owned retailer.

Formación

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; also customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear and precise direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root cause issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data.

Responsabilidades

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members; promote career development and promotions.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales targets and control shrink.
• Ensure exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Lead safe work practices and maintain Meijer standards.
• Ensure team training completion and store appearance during peak hours.
• Communicate Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings.
• Disciplinary actions when required and document outcomes.
