Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Experience rotating through store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli).
• Ability to communicate clear directions and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to analyze financial information and teach suggestive selling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; drive customer service and sales.
• Staffing, selection, and hiring to meet needs; succession planning.
• Disciplinary actions and recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and controlling shrink.
• Ensure team is trained and maintains company standards.
• Maintain safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Manage multiple tasks and communicate Meijer initiatives.
