Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience required.
• Experience with staff rotation and product flow helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Drive customer service and ensure swift, friendly service.
• Maintain store standards and presentation for prime hours.
• Manage P&L and shrink for the department.
• Promote Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and actions.
• Ensure team training completion and safe work environment.
