Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day store operations. You will mentor staff, manage staffing and hiring, and drive sales while maintaining company standards.

A strong focus on customer service, training, and safe operations is essential. The role requires 1 year of management experience and 2–3 years in retail, with the ability to analyze financial data and coach teams toward growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of management experience is required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience is preferred.
• Must communicate clearly to team members with direction and expectations.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions and improve performance.
• Experience in coaching and motivating staff to achieve service and sales goals.
• Must complete all required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Manage P&L, drive sales, and control shrink for the department.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Ensure thorough training and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation during peak hours.
• Foster a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
