Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Fort Worth, TX.

You will be the first face of the brand for growing families, guiding a team to deliver exceptional service and help customers with baby essentials and school readiness products. You will foster a welcoming environment, coach staff to meet KPIs, and support merchandising and promotional efforts while ensuring operational controls and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success and model service standards across channels.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team to improve results.
• Build customer loyalty through company-sponsored programs, including credit.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing store staff.
• Plan and report on merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
