Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc. is seeking a Retail Team Lead for the Tifton, GA store. You will assist store managers with operations, support team development, and lead training for staff across the retail floor.

The role includes loss prevention, safety adherence, and driving daily store goals while building strong donor and customer relationships. Cross-training across retail areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Experience in retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains store's financial assets, including cash tills, deposits, and change fund.
• Supervises team members to ensure customers receive excellent service.
• Delegates tasks and duties for all store team members.
• Creates an environment for meeting expectations and performance targets.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Develops relationships with donors and customers.
• Assists customers with purchases and pricing.
• Ensures sales floor is customer-friendly.
• Checks pricing and color-of-the-week accuracy.
• Assists with hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Adheres to safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
