Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc. in Douglas, GA is seeking a Retail Team Lead for the Douglas store. This full-time position supports store managers, leads a team, and helps drive sales while maintaining safety standards and Goodwill values.

You will be cross-trained across retail operations and must be available to work varied shifts. A GED or high school diploma is required, plus supervisory experience and basic math/computer skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience leading a team or on the job training.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper maintenance, reporting and management of the store’s financial assets such as cash register tills, cash deposits and the change fund.
• Supervises team members to ensure customers receive the best service experience.
• Delegates tasks and duties for all store team members.
• Creates an environment that allows team members to achieve expectations, goals and performance measures.
• Meets or exceeds daily retail store goals.
• Develops relationships with donors and customers.
• Assists customers with purchases and pricing.
• Ensures the sales floor layout is customer friendly.
• Checks pricing and color of the week policies.
• Assists with hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Understands and practices all safety requirements.
