Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Milton, FL is seeking a dedicated team member to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, sales, and merchandising objectives, while delivering outstanding customer service and promoting a safe, productive work environment.

You will train team members on policies, handle cash, stock, and live animals with care, and participate in opening/closing procedures, price changes, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work shifts with varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Support selling initiatives (TEAM): Thank the Customer, Engage with the customer or pet, Advise products or services, Make it Memorable.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and organize daily workflow.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and handle live animals with care.
