Job summary

Gap is seeking an in-store team member in California to support the store leadership team and execute store tasks with a focus on delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will role model selling behaviors, educate customers on loyalty programs, and collaborate to meet productivity goals.

Applicants should be able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate the sales floor and stockroom.

Responsibilities

• Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Promote customer loyalty by educating customers about loyalty programs.
• Become an expert of the brand's selling behaviors by role modelling these behaviors with every customer.
• Support sales leader during non-peak hours, with the customer as the primary focus.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Build and share expertise in the product lifecycle.
• Assist with opening and/or closing checklists and after-hours tasks as needed.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
