Job summary

Seasons Corner Market in Dennis, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations, supervise team members, and uphold company standards while delivering outstanding service.

You will work with the Store Manager to ensure safety, organization, stocking, and a positive guest experience, develop employees, manage merchandising, and drive sales and efficiency in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must be available to align with Store Manager's schedule and travel for new store openings up to 3–6 weeks.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by creating a friendly, welcoming experience for every guest.
• Supervise and support employees during daily operations.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and performance goals.
• Process customer purchases using the POS system and cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards through stocking and store presentation.
• Keep facilities clean and safe in all weather conditions.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching new team members.
• Encourage sales growth through product knowledge and promotions.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Complete reports and administrative tasks on schedule.
• Assist with scheduling and daily workflow.
• Support store remodels and openings and other initiatives.
