Seasons Corner Market in Cranston, RI is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team, coach staff, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will partner with the Store Manager to ensure safety, organization, and strong store performance.

The role emphasizes initiative, leadership development, scheduling, and hands-on supervision of daily operations, with opportunities to travel for new openings as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background check required.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be available to work a schedule that aligns with Store Manager.
• Willingness to travel and assist with new store openings up to 3–6 weeks when required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by creating a friendly, welcoming experience for every guest.
• Supervise and support employees during daily operations while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Assist Store Manager with execution of daily operations and store performance goals.
• Process customer purchases accurately using POS and company cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards through stocking, inventory management, product rotation, and store presentation.
• Keep sales floor, restrooms, parking areas, and exterior grounds clean and safe.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching new team members.
• Encourage sales growth through product knowledge, promotions, and suggestive selling techniques.
• Follow and enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Complete required reports, paperwork, and administrative tasks on schedule.
• Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily workflow coordination.
• Support store remodels, grand openings, and other initiatives.
