Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Retail Sales Lead Worker to coordinate store operations, train the team, and ensure top-tier guest service. You will assign tasks, greet guests, and maintain a professional atmosphere even in the absence of management.

You will also manage cash handling, inventory, and daily reporting while guiding Sales Associates and General Utility Workers through busy shifts. A flexible, weekend-inclusive schedule is common.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be of legal age to work with alcohol.
• Proof of having earned a responsible alcohol training and certification program where applicable.
• Flexible, willing to work a rotational schedule with rotational days off that may include weekends and holidays.
• Must be fluent in the native language, both spoken and written.
• Must be computer literate in MS Office programs.
• Ability to operate equipment such as Photocopier, Calculator, Printer, POS System

Responsibilities

• Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties.
• Hold pre-shift meetings to ensure that the days tasks are clear for the team.
• Retail Leads should be knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and act as a concierge resource.
• Ensure all guests are greeted when they walk into the store.
• Train staff to develop customer-service focused professionals.
• Respond to customer complaints and resolve them promptly and professionally.
• Keep inventory of stock and note shortages.
• Process daily cash and sales data using Excel and POS/Property Management software.
• Lead nightly close-out and balance cash with daily sales.
• Assist management in scheduling employees and assigning tasks.
• May assist with hiring and payroll coordination.
• May coordinate, correct, supervise and submit payroll for the department, ensuring accuracy, proper transfer of labor and timely weekly reporting.
