Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be of legal age to work with alcohol.
• Must provide proof of having earned a responsible alcohol training and certification program where applicable.
• Flexible, rotational schedule including weekends/holidays may be required.
• Fluency in the native language, both spoken and written, is required.
• Computer literate in MS Office programs.
• Ability to operate equipment such as POS systems, Photocopier, Calculator, Printer, Telephone and Computer.
• Well groomed with a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties.
• Hold pre-shift meetings to communicate tasks and information to the team.
• Lead knowledge of surrounding areas to assist guests as a concierge resource.
• Greet all guests entering the store.
• Train staff to deliver customer service excellence.
• Ensure smooth operations in the manager's absence and handle customer relations issues.
• Respond to customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain stock inventory and note shortages.
• Place orders with warehouse/vendors to meet demand.
• Complete monthly safety inspections and incident reports as required.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
• Record daily cash and sales data using Excel and POS systems.
• Lead nightly close and balance cash with daily sales.
• Assist management with scheduling and staffing within labor budgets.
• Assist with hiring where needed and coordinate payroll reporting.
