Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves supervising daily activities, organizing merchandise, and ensuring safety and policy compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires strong communication and leadership, the ability to train store associates, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences. This is a part-time on-site role located at Blairsville, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Experience with payroll, scheduling, and cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and stock merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Ensure clean, stocked, and safe store areas.
