Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, drive excellent customer service, and develop the store team. In this role you will assist with merchandising, scheduling, loss prevention, and ensuring safety and policy compliance while maintaining a welcoming, high-energy environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and able to read operational directives.
• Retail store management experience preferred in retail, grocery, or drug store.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure the seasonal areas of the store are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain areas of the store, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, to company standards.
