Dollar General is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead customer service and supervise employees in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist with scheduling, training, merchandising, inventory control, and store deposits, under the Store Manager's direction.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage cash and ensure store profitability while protecting company assets.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform cash register functions and generate reports.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.

Mansioni

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees, training, and safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages/markdowns.
• Assist with planograms and merchandise presentation per Store Manager direction.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposits.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
