Job summary

Dollar General Lead Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, customer-first store, assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, and supporting the Store Manager in daily operations. This role may serve as acting lead in the absence of store leadership.

Key duties include handling cash, stocking and rotating merchandise, creating appealing displays, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
