Job summary

Dollar Tree in Seville, OH, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train Store Associates.

Responsibilities include payroll/scheduling, cash handling, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. This role demands strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have
• Organize, and transfer merchandise between stockroom and sales floor as needed and ensure the seasonal areas of the store are maintained
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling and loss prevention
• Train and develop Store Associates
• Maintain store cleanliness and organized areas to company standards
