Job summary

Dollar Tree in Mason, OH is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team. The role involves supervising store activities, organizing merchandise, and ensuring store standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Ability to train and develop store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers with inquiries and concerns.
• Organize and move merchandise from delivery to floor and stockroom.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store records.
• Maintain store displays and merchandising for promotions.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and follow safety procedures.
• Coach and develop Store Associates and maintain a positive work environment.
