Job summary

Carter's in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You'll welcome customers, share product knowledge, and help prep for the first day of school while fostering an inclusive environment and coaching the team to achieve service standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop a strong team, drive KPI results, and maintain merchandising and loss-prevention controls across the floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to maintain customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers and assist with product styles and benefits.
• Coach employees to success and maintain inclusive environment.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop store team.
• Plan, track, and report tasks and financial results with company tools.
• Support merchandising, promotions, and product placement.
• Assist in reducing loss through service and operational controls.
