AAA Club Alliance is hiring for a full-time Retail Staff Assistant/Team Lead at our Lexington, KY store. The role combines customer service with leadership, guiding a team and driving sales while ensuring a high-quality member experience.

You will support daily operations, upsell AAA memberships, arrange travel referrals, and assist with cashiering and related duties. The position offers a base hourly pay of $19.50–$24.92, incentive pay, a 37.5-hour week, and benefits including medical, 401(k),

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales and customer service experience.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills for multitasking in a busy retail environment.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; screenings completed.
• May require membership license(s) to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Enhance customer experience and lead a team to success.
• Mentor associates and drive daily operations and performance.
• Consistently upsell and cross-sell AAA products (memberships, cards, insurance).
• Assist members with domestic travel planning and referrals.
• Answer overflow Roadside Assistance calls during peak times.
• Provide backup with cashiering, tag/title, and IDEMIA services as needed.
• Support Retail Manager to improve store results.
