Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking motivated TurboTax - Retail Experts to join on-site teams at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States.

You will provide full-service tax preparation, expert advice, and software support to in-person customers, while growing the local client base and fostering community relations. The role requires active tax licenses (EA/CPA/Attorney), PTIN, and at least 3 years of experience handling 1040 returns with tax software.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20 hours per week minimum.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willingness to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: represent TurboTax locally, engage with prospects, and drive local marketing outreach.
• Provide Tax Expertise: deliver hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including complex scenarios.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: ensure professionalism and help clients reach financial goals, using video tools when needed.
• Interact with customers in-person and via TurboTax platforms, addressing inquiries and guiding tax solutions.
