Job summary

Intuit Inc. in the United States seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to join on-site teams at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations. You will provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while delivering a best-in-class customer experience and growing the client base in your community.

You’ll work non-exempt, onsite part-time hours, with flexibility to support peak tax periods. Candidates should have active tax credentials, strong knowledge of tax law, and a passion for helping

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador by representing TurboTax locally, engaging with prospects, and growing the client base.
• Provide Tax Expertise by giving hands-on tax advice and completing preparation services for TurboTax customers, including complex tax situations.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience through professionalism, empathy, and helping clients achieve financial goals.
