Job summary

Intuit is hiring full-time TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, advice, and software support, building client relationships and growing the local TurboTax presence.

Must be a licensed tax professional (EA/CPA/attorney), with 3+ years for 30+ returns per season, and be willing to work weekends in a front-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep tax law knowledge preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses/certificates/permits/bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season with professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location 20+ hours/week, weekends included.
• Interest in building local/online TurboTax presence; social content creation encouraged.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; holistic tax advisory experience valued.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform; front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax in the local area.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, convert to long-term clients.
• Lead and participate in local marketing with TurboTax support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for Simple to complex tax situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for future taxes.
• Use government websites, professional tools, and team guidance for accurate solutions.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and genuine client care.
• Build long-term trust and relationships with clients beyond a single transaction.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help overcome tax-related challenges.
