Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as TurboTax Retail Experts in a on-site location across the United States. You’ll provide full-service tax preparation and advice to in-person customers, leveraging TurboTax products and marketing support to grow your local client base.

You will be a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships, and representing TurboTax in the community while delivering a best-in-class customer experience in a front-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep tax knowledge.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Possess or obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 1040 returns (30+ federals/state) per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours/week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador and engage with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and plan taxes.
• Deliver excellent customer experiences and foster trust for multi-year relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools, addressing tax inquiries.
• Grow the local client base with TurboTax marketing support and resources.
