Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round TurboTax Retail Experts to join our on-site teams at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States, helping customers with tax preparation and advice while delivering outstanding service.

As a trusted advisor, you will grow the local client base, conduct discovery sessions, and work with tax software to serve individuals and businesses. This non-exempt, on-site role requires strong tax knowledge, community engagement, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with new prospects.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including complex tax situations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and build long-term client relationships both in person and via marketing initiatives.
