Job summary

Intuit is seeking Tax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will prepare tax returns, give tax advice, and help clients maximize refunds while growing the local TurboTax client base.

This non-exempt, onsite role requires strong knowledge of tax law, active PTIN, and the ability to work 20+ hours per week in a front-facing retail setting. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and uniform wear is required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax advisory services beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax return preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Conduct tax reviews to uncover deductions, maximize refunds, and offer future tax planning guidance.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences in a front-facing retail environment and build local client relationships.
