Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to serve as trusted advisors in our retail or flagship locations. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, engage with the community, and lead local marketing efforts to make tax concepts accessible.

Onsite roles require a strong background in tax preparation and client service. Active EA/CPA/attorney license with 3+ years of filing 1040s is preferred, plus willingness to work 20+ hours weekly in a front-facing retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into clients
• Lead local marketing efforts to make taxes accessible and approachable
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax customers
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for the future
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources and team expertise
