Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures while upholding company policies.

You will supervise and train store associates, maintain a clean, well-stocked store, and contribute to loss prevention and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
