Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and help develop a high-performing team. The role emphasizes merchandising, inventory control, and adherence to company policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and training while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure seasonal areas are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
